Christ Church Alsager is a lively part of the Church of England in South Cheshire. We’re a mixed band of people of all ages from different backgrounds. Some of us have a strong faith, others are searching. Our style is relaxed and friendly - whether in our Sunday worship services or midweek activities. Whether you’ve never been to church before or you’re a committed Christian, do come along, take a look and find out more. You are very welcome. What we are about We believe that we’re on an exciting journey towards our vision as a church: ‘To love the Lord our God with all our hearts, minds, souls and strength. And to love our neighbours as ourselves’ (Jesus' words in Mark 12:28-31). We express this by aiming to grow: Up (closer to God) In (closer to one another) Out (closer to our community) One way of reminding us of this is to imagine (or eat!) a Toblerone. The bar points three ways, but it’s also made up of individual pieces linked together. Each piece points the same three ways. Wherever we’re starting from, we want everybody to be growing up, in and out –each person, the whole church, but also each different group within the church. Together, we want to explore what it means to live as Christians in the world today. Our teaching is Bible-based, made relevant to everyday living. We are open to the work of the Holy Spirit amongst us and have a desire to share God’s love with our community.
