Leicester Chinese church advances in the Christian faith via its services and groups which meet throughout the week. At its services the church gives time to the preaching of the Bible in English and Bilingual (Mandarin and Chinese) and the central Christian tenets of faith. Also, there is Sunday School is for children from age 5-12 years and Youth group is for teenagers from 13-17 years. Chinese Class in Mandarin is also available each Sunday. During the week the church has many sub groups such as Home group, Bible study, Prayer meet, Mandarin speaking Student Fellowship and Young Adult Fellowship (YAF) for English speaking students and young professionals, which meet to study the bible and to have fellowship. These are open to all who are willing to attend. The objects of the Church are, for the benefit of the public, • To preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, primarily, but not exclusively to the Chinese in Leicestershire, such as overseas students, resident Chinese and British-born Chinese in accordance with the Statement of Beliefs. In furtherance of the above charitable objective, the Church shall be empowered: • To provide a spiritual home for them, and to care for their spiritual welfare • To spiritually equip those who will be returning to their home country. • To co-operate with Chinese churches, other evangelical churches and societies whose doctrinal position agree with the Church. • To foster a world view, and, in particular, to arouse and keep alive a spiritual burden for special needy areas. • To acquire suitable premises for the Church's activities in Leicestershire. • To do any such other lawful thing as shall further the objectives of the Church. • The Trustees must use the income and may use the capital of the Church in promoting the Objects. The trustees have paid due regard to guidance issued by the Charity Commission in deciding what activities the charity should undertake and Leicester Chinese Christian church is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) for data protection.
